The Forest Creek Golf Club

The Forest Creek golf club course is considered to be one of the best courses in the United States. The club has spaces set aside for homes which will have great views of the area.

It is a private club as well as a gated secure community.The club house is located on a hill overlooking a lake near the greens of the 9th and 18th holes.

The golf course is located near to the Pinehurst circle. In the early 1980's Terry and Louis Brown and a cousin, were considering the idea of constructing the course as well as homes within the area of the course. Construction began in 1994 and has grown to cover over 1000 acres. The Club is considered to be one of the top golf courses in the Country.

Designed by Fazio

The grounds are filled longleaf pines on a rolling landscape. Tom Fazio designed the course and was delighted with the area he was given. The course is challenging even for professional golfers. The course is rated as a par 72 and has the beauty of the area and also added bonus views of man made lakes on the golf course.

The Design of the Course

As with most Fazio designed courses, the Forest Creek Golf Club course was designed with bunkers were well placed in order to challenge the golfer. The pars 3's on the course were designed with enough areas to land the ball safely if your shot is not on target.

The par 4's; 9th hole and others

The 9th hole begins from a high tee area and follows along a lake towards a line of pines is considered one of the best holes on the course. The green, complete with a well placed water hazard located at the front of it, has bunkers at the rear of the green.

The Forest Creek golf club course is considered by experts to be a quality golf. It provides golfers with a challenging but still, enjoyable course which allows them to be tested at a level which is achievable. Many golfers have said that the rate the course as one of the best in the country.
